I am a first year BA (Hons) Product Design Student at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design. I was born and raised in Germany within a diverse cultural environment, hence being half German and half Persian.
After I graduated from High school in Germany, my strong interest in discovering different countries and cultures combined with my love for design led me to London to become a Product Designer. Before I started to study Product Design at St. Martin's, I did a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at London College of Communication where I also got an insight into graphic design.

To me the central point in designing is solving people's problems and creating changes in the world by pushing the limits of design. I want to create things with a meaning beyond the aesthetic and to make the design not only functional but place it in a wider cultural context. Nowadays being a Product Designer goes beyond design products. It’s about the thinking behind it; uncovering people’s needs, understanding their problems, working with the thin line between conscious and unconscious behavior and based on that providing new life improving experiences.

Apart from design my field of interest covers literature, arts, film, politics and biology. I like to read a book or watch a movie to immerse in other Wolds, paint and draw to relax, debate about politics for fun and explore nature to feel like a child again. Traveling is another passion of mine which I pursue when ever offered the opportunity. I find it exciting to explore foreign countries, getting to know different cultures and to learn from their habits and customs.
I have an eye for details and gain inspiration from everyday life observations that I make during museum visits, when I spend time with my friends or sometimes just on my way to the tube station. Furthermore I like to question the world around me and challenge existing ways and theories. I am passionate and focused with all that I do but always keep my mind open for other solutions and possibilities.

The experience I gained in the course of my education made me a strong team player, taught me how to successfully solve problems under pressure, and helped me develop good communication skills.
